Royal Golf Club Mariánské Lázně

The great season 2012 is nearing the end as winter approaches Marienbad

Many important things have happened in the life of our club this year. In spring the Governing Body elections resulted in establishing a strong and dedicated team (see the Club section of our web), eager to deepen the ties with our partners and friends in England and Germany in particular. The most apparent change here at the course has been the appointment of an experienced English greenkeeper Mr. Stuart Burridge. Many course improvements are to be expected in the years to come. Looking forward for the year 2013 !

Royal Golf Club Marianske Lazne

The Marianske Lazne Golf Club course may serve as an example of Scottish and Irish golfing architecture from the end of the 19th century. The course lies on an upland plain 787 meters above sea level, built under the governance of Scottish professional Duig. It was opened in 1905. Therefore it is the oldest course in the Czech Republic.
