General rules of conduct within the premises of The Royal Golf Club Marianske Lazne

I. The premises of RGCML comprise

• 18-hole championship golf course
• 9-hole chip & putt training course
• driving range + golf academy
• putting green next to the club house terrace
• chipping green by green No.10
• various constructions and buildings including the terrace and car park

II. Opening times

Reception office

May–August	7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
September	8:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
April + October	8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
November–March	as directed by the RGCML manager

Changing rooms

May - August	7:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.
September	8:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.
April + October	8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
November–March	as directed by the RGCML manager

Driving Range

May–August	8:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
September	8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
April + October	9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

- On tournament days, 1 hour before the first start time
- On Mondays, open from 10 a.m.

Chip & putt course

May–August	9:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
September	9:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
April + October	9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Proshop

May–September	8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
October	8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

 

III. Obligations of players at the 18-hole championship course

a) Admitted to play at the course will be players who have:

• handicap 36 or lower or green card, to be verified by a club membership card submitted at the RGCML reception office
• reserved their start times
• proper sports clothes:
  - no blue jeans or jogging-type outfits are permitted
  - shirt with a collar
  - shorts of sufficiently long legs
  - ladies’ collarless shirts are permitted, but not T-shirts
  - golf shoes with soft spikes
• golf equipment as required by the golf rules (one player = one set of clubs)

b) The players shall observe:

• their start times, and be ready at the 1st tee 10 minutes before the booked time
• time limits for play:
  - 18 holes – 4 hours 20 minutes
  - 15 holes – 3 hours 30 minutes
  - 10 holes – 2 hours 20 minutes
  - 4 holes – 1 hour
• the golf etiquette, in particular:
  - ban on trial swings at tees
  - repair of ball-impact holes on greens
  - raking bunkers after play
  - replacing divots on fairways
  - ban on mobile phone use if it may disturb other players
  - golf rules

c) The player shall not allow any visitors or accompanying people to try golf swings
d) Unless the reception staff permit otherwise, play shall always start at Tee 1.
e) It is not allowed to play with driving range balls
f) Any party who discontinue play of their own accord shall not be permitted to continue later
g) Should the course be officially declared unfit for play, the players may have their green fee refunded
h) At any time during play, the players may be invited to show their green fee receipt.
i) The players shall observe any directives by the course marshal or club manager who may, should the players fail to observe any of the above obligations, terminate their play with no refund

V. Obligations of players and visitors to driving range, 9-hole chip & putt training course, changing rooms, caddie hall, restaurant including terrace and car park

a) observe the directives of the club employees and other professional staff
b) observe the rules of decent behaviour and the golf etiquette
c) observe the rules of decent dressing
d) not collect balls at driving range
e) not to demonstrate or train golf play unless allowed to do so by head pro or his assistant
f) do not let dogs run free or unattended
g) smoking is prohibited at:

• the RGCML reception office
• the Pro shop
• the changing rooms
• the caddie hall
• the restaurant room with open fire
• the restaurant section reserved to club members (to the right of the bar)
